### About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and responsible *News Reporter / Photojournalist* to join our editorial team in Bareilly. The candidate should have a strong news sense, good communication skills and the ability to cover news stories through both *written reports and photographs*.

### Key Responsibilities

* Cover local news, breaking news, events, press conferences and key developments in Bareilly.

* Develop original news stories, interviews, features and ground reports.

* Capture high-quality photographs for news stories and digital platforms.

* Conduct interviews with officials, public representatives, experts and local residents.

* Verify facts and information before publication.

* Develop and maintain reliable local news sources.

* Respond quickly to breaking-news assignments.

* Submit accurate reports, photographs and captions within deadlines.

* Coordinate with the editorial and digital teams.

* Follow journalistic ethics and editorial standards.

* Monitor local developments and identify potential news stories.

### Required Skills





* 1–5 years of experience in journalism, reporting or photojournalism.

* Strong Hindi writing and communication skills.

* Good news sense and strong local knowledge.

* Good photography and visual storytelling skills.

* Ability to use DSLR/mirrorless cameras and smartphones for news photography.

* Basic photo and video editing skills will be an advantage.

* Good interviewing, research and fact-checking abilities.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Willingness to travel for news assignments.

* Knowledge of digital media and social-media platforms.

### Qualification

* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field preferred.

* Relevant professional experience in news reporting/photojournalism will be given preference.
