Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Assistant Warden / Senior Executive – Night Shift to oversee the day-to-day night operations of the Boys Hostel. The role involves student attendance, discipline, safety, security coordination, emergency support, and proper handover of hostel activities to the morning team.

Key Responsibilities

- Report for duty in the evening and take responsibility for hostel operations throughout the night until morning handover.
- Ensure students return to the hostel within the prescribed reporting time and complete nightly attendance.
- Identify students who have not returned and immediately report the matter to the Warden as per the escalation procedure.
- Record the daily dinner count and update the Dining Tracker.
- Conduct periodic rounds of all hostel floors along with designated security personnel/bouncers to ensure student safety, discipline, and room occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with hostel rules regarding prohibited items, including alcohol, tobacco products, narcotic/illegal substances, and other restricted materials, following approved procedures.
- Monitor common areas and ensure unnecessary lights, fans, air-conditioners, and electrical equipment are switched off.
- In the absence of the Warden, handle essential operational responsibilities and ensure uninterrupted hostel functioning.




- Attend to students who become sick during the night and arrange sick-room support, medical assistance, or hospital transportation as required.
- Inform the Warden and parent/guardian in serious medical or emergency situations as per procedure.
- Post prescribed photographs/status updates in the designated official group as required.
- Record all incidents, observations, and pending matters in the Night Shift Handover Register.
- Complete a proper morning handover to the Warden/day-shift team.
- Ensure emergency exits and access routes remain clear and unobstructed throughout the night.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust discipline, responsibility, and observation skills.
- Ability to handle students and emergency situations calmly.
- Basic computer and MS Excel knowledge.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with security, housekeeping, and hostel staff.
- Willingness to work evening/night shifts.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Any Graduate.
- Experience: 1–3 years in hostel administration, student accommodation, residential facility management, security coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant experience in educational institutions/hostels will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
