Role Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Architect with deep backend expertise in Java and working knowledge of Angular for front-end integration. The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, design scalable backend systems, and ensure seamless integration with front-end applications, while mentoring engineering teams on best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and oversee development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud).
- Define and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and coding best practices across the stack.
- Design RESTful/GraphQL APIs and ensure smooth integration with Angular front-end applications.
- Lead microservices architecture, including service decomposition, API gateway design, and inter-service communication (REST, messaging queues like Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Own database architecture decisions (RDBMS/NoSQL), schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Drive cloud-native architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP) — containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to define API contracts and ensure Angular apps consume backend services efficiently.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning (load testing, caching strategies, JVM tuning).
- Ensure security best practices (OAuth2/JWT, data encryption, secure coding) are embedded across the stack.




- Mentor and guide development teams; act as a technical escalation point.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, DevOps, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills

- Java 11+ / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud / Spring Security
- Microservices architecture & design patterns
- RESTful API design, API Gateway (Kong/Zuul/Apigee)
- Messaging systems: Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ
- Database: PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle + NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
- Caching: Redis/Hazelcast
- Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP (any one, hands-on)
- Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- CI/CD: Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps
- Performance tuning, JVM internals, multithreading/concurrency
- Angular (v10+), TypeScript, RxJS
- Understanding of component-based architecture and state management (NgRx a plus)
- Ability to define/review API contracts from a consumption standpoint
- Proven experience as a Solution/Technical Architect in enterprise-scale projects
- Solid grasp of design patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture
- Experience with architecture documentation (C4 model, UML)
- Excellent stakeholder communication and mentoring ability

Good to Have

- Experience with GraphQL
- Exposure to Kafka Streams / event sourcing / CQRS
- Prior experience leading architecture for large-scale, high-traffic systems
