Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Linux Engineer with robust hands-on experience in Linux administration, networking, security, and firewall technologies. The role involves deploying and supporting secure Linux platforms across enterprise and data-centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and support Linux servers across production and non-production environments.
- Manage NixOS, RHEL, GUIX, and other immutable Linux platforms.
- Configure Linux networking, Layer 2, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and security zoning.
- Implement and manage nftables, iptables, and stateful firewall solutions.
- Integrate Linux environments with enterprise firewalls such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Check Point.
- Implement Linux hardening, security controls, segmentation, and network security.
- Support Cilium for Kubernetes networking/security.




- Deploy and maintain Zeek and Suricata for network monitoring/IDS/IPS.
- Handle OS upgrades, patching, migrations, troubleshooting, and RCA.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and support change/maintenance activities.

Mandatory Skills

- 8+ years hands-on Linux administration/engineering
- Telecom experience – Mandatory
- NixOS – Mandatory
- RHEL
- nftables / iptables
- Linux Networking, TCP/IP, Layer 2, VLAN, Routing & Switching
- Stateful Firewall / Security Zoning
- Enterprise firewall exposure: Cisco / Fortinet / Palo Alto / Check Point
- Enterprise/Data Centre experience
- Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills
