Area Sales Manager – Loan Against Property (Micro & Prime)

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8–15 years in secured lending, with hands-on exposure to both Micro LAP and Prime LAP segments

The Role

You will drive LAP sourcing and business growth for the assigned area, managing a team of sales officers/RMs and building a strong channel network across Micro and Prime LAP segments.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve monthly/quarterly disbursement and AUM targets for the area across Micro & Prime LAP.
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of Sales Officers/Relationship Managers.
- Build and expand sourcing through DSAs, connectors, direct sales team (DST) and open market channels.
- Drive builder and channel partner tie-ups to strengthen the local network.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, legal and technical teams for smooth file processing and turnaround.
- Ensure portfolio quality by working closely with collections to control delinquencies (0+, X-bucket).
- Track branch/team-level productivity, yield, and fee income.
- Ensure compliance with credit policy, RBI norms and internal audit requirements.
- Identify and appoint current DSAs/connectors; conduct regular training on product and process.
