We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation and banking/financial services applications. The candidate should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and join immediately or within a short notice period.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for banking applications.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, regression and integration testing.
- Automate functional, regression and end-to-end testing using appropriate automation frameworks.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Perform API testing and validate backend/database data.
- Identify, document, track and validate defects through closure.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and other QA teams.
- Participate in SIT, UAT and production validation activities.
- Ensure test coverage, quality standards and timely delivery.
- Support continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
- 10 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Strong Banking / Financial Services domain experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium / Java / Python or similar automation tools.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman / REST Assured.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven and automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology.
- Experience with JIRA, Git and CI/CD tools will be an advantage.
- Robust understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management and test methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidate Preference
- 10 years overall QA/Automation experience
- Banking domain experience is mandatory
- Immediate joiner / candidates serving short notice preferred
- Candidates who can join immediately will be given priority.
