**Job Description Summary** Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling enterprise-level applications. A unique aspect of this role is the integration of our Java applications with BI reporting tools, specifically utilizing IBI WebFOCUS. You will bridge the gap between back-end data architecture and front-end user analytics. Experience in microservices and full-stack development is a strong plus. **Job Description** Key Responsibilities: + **Full Stack Development:** Design, develop, and deploy robust web applications using Java/Spring Boot for the backend and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) for the frontend. + **WebFOCUS Integration:** Embed WebFOCUS reports, dashboards, and analytics into our existing web applications. Utilize the WebFOCUS API/SDK to create seamless, data-driven user experiences. + **Data Pipeline Management:** Work with BI teams to optimize queries and data models in WebFOCUS to ensure high performance and data accuracy for end-users. + **System Architecture:** Develop secure RESTful APIs to communicate between the Java backend and BI data layers. + **Collaboration:** Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions.



+ **Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both the Java application stack and the BI reporting layer. Required Technical Skills: + **Java Expertise:** Deep understanding of Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture. + **Frontend Proficiency:** Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one up-to-date framework (e.g., React or Angular). + **BI & Analytics:** + Demonstrable experience with **IBI (Information Builders) WebFOCUS** . + Ability to create and manage Reporting Server procedures (FEX files). + Experience using the WebFOCUS App Studio or Developer Studio. + **Database Knowledge:** Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server). + **DevOps/Tools:** Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker/Kubernetes. **Additional Information** **Relocation Assistance Provided:** Yes GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
