Our portfolio comprises 50 power projects with 41 operational assets spanning across transmission, solar generation and battery energy storage. **Position Overview:** The Technical assistant manager - Solar (AC Side) will be responsible for analysing, monitoring, and enhancing the reliability and performance of solar plant assets, focusing specifically on AC side systems. This includes transformers, HT/LT switchgear, protection systems, cabling, and grid interface components. The role involves root cause analysis, preventive and predictive maintenance strategy development, failure tracking, reliability and performance improvement across solar assets. **Roles & Responsibilities:** + Monitor and analyze failures, breakdowns of the AC-side components of utility-scale solar power plants. + Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for transformers, inverters (AC output), switchgear, Switchyard/substation and SCADA-controlled systems. + Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of above AC components failures and recurring issues. + Work closely with O&M; teams to optimize inspection and maintenance schedules,



improve work methods, standard operating procedures and inspection check points. + Evaluate equipment design, installation quality, and environmental conditions to identify potential failure modes and mitigations measures to prevent such failures. + Prepare / Review Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), testing and commissioning plan of above AC components + Develop and maintain reliability KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, Failure Rate, Downtime %, etc. + Technical support for warranty claims management of above AC components + Support in risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning for AC components. + Prepare periodic reliability reports and findings to management + Work closely with O&M;, Design, and SCADA teams to identify chronic issues and propose engineering solutions. + Review AC side component performance assess harmonics, reactive power, and grid compliance issues and suggest mitigation measures to address challenges, if any + Collaborate with OEMs/vendors for technical resolutions and continuous improvements in reliability. + Support grid compliance audits and interface management with DISCOM/SLDC. + Hands-on experience with condition monitoring systems, relay coordination, and event log analysis. **Qualification and Educational Requirements:** + Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical + 6-8 years of experience in substation testing, O&M;, commissioning, or reliability engineering with robust AC side component experience + In-depth knowledge of design and application standards (IEC, IS, NEC, IEEE etc.) of HT/LT systems, transformer protection schemes, circuit breakers, relays, switchgear, SCADA and grid integration. + Hands-on experience with condition monitoring systems, relay coordination, and event log analysis We are an equal opportunity employer.
