Analyst Oracle Fusion Financials-L1 - Pune

Job Role :Provide first-level functional support for Oracle Fusion Financials, covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Expenses. Support users, troubleshoot functional issues, execute testing, maintain documentation, and coordinate escalations to ensure reliable financial-system operations and timely resolution of service requests.

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification or professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CMA, Cost Accounting, or equivalent is advantageous.
Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, or related Financials modules is preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Oracle Fusion Financials, financial systems, ERP functional support, or enterprise applications.
Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Financials or comparable ERP financial applications, preferably within a complex enterprise setting. Exposure to cloud/on-premise integrations and production support is advantageous.
Good proficiency in Oracle Fusion Financials, OTBI reporting, MS Office, financial-system reporting, and data-mapping tools.
Excellent proficiency in Business English, including the ability to understand functional requirements, document system issues, prepare user guidance, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Resolve standard Oracle Fusion Financials issues within approved procedures; perform assigned functional testing; support approved configuration and reporting activities; maintain support documentation; recommend system/process improvements; and escalate complex functional, technical, integration, or control issues to L2/L3 support.
Provide first-level functional support for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Expenses.
Receive, categorize, prioritize, and monitor financial-system incidents and service requests.
Analyze whether issues relate to user/process errors, master data, transaction data, roles, integrations, or system functionality.
Resolve standard issues using approved procedures and available knowledge resources.
Escalate complex functional or technical issues to L2/L3 teams with complete supporting information.
Guide users through approved Oracle Fusion Financials processes and application navigation.
Support standard financial transactions and process-related queries.
Explain system behavior and approved business procedures to users.
Identify recurring user issues and recommend appropriate guidance or training.
Prepare and maintain FAQs, quick-reference guides, and functional knowledge articles.
Execute predefined functional test cases for Oracle Fusion quarterly updates, patches, and approved changes.
Perform regression testing across affected financial processes and document results.
Record defects and coordinate resolution with functional and technical teams.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered fixes.
Perform post-release verification to confirm application stability and expected functionality.
Support users with standard Oracle Fusion Financials and OTBI reports.
Assist in validating financial report outputs and transaction data.
Identify basic reporting or data issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
Support data validation activities associated with approved system changes.
Escalate complex reporting, reconciliation, or data-quality issues to the responsible functional or technical team.
