Position : Analyst Oracle Fusion Technical-L2 - Pune

Job Role :
Design, develop, enhance, and support secure and scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud technical solutions, including extensions, user interfaces, reports, integrations, APIs, and automation. Translate functional and business requirements into reliable solutions using VBCS, OTBI, Smart Forms, REST/SOAP APIs, and AI Agents, while providing L2 technical support and ensuring solution performance, security, and maintainability.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline is advantageous.
Oracle Cloud Platform Application Development Certification, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification, Relevant Oracle Fusion / PaaS development certifications are advantageous.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise application development, technical extensions, integrations, and reporting, preferably within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Experience developing and supporting enterprise cloud application extensions, preferably within Oracle ERP/HCM. Exposure to API development, PaaS/SaaS extensions, reporting, integrations, and production support in a complex enterprise environment is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), OTBI and Oracle reporting tools, Smart Forms, REST APIs and SOAP Web Services, SQL, JSON and XML, Data mapping and transformation, AI Agent integrations
Very valuable proficiency in Business English, including the ability to interpret technical requirements,



prepare solution designs and system documentation, and communicate effectively with technical and functional stakeholders.

Jobs Responsibilities :
Develop and modify assigned technical objects, extensions, reports, interfaces, and APIs within approved architecture and development standards; perform technical testing; troubleshoot L2 issues; recommend technical improvements; support controlled deployments; and escalate architecture, security, infrastructure, or product-level issues to the appropriate technical authority.
Develop technical extensions and custom solutions supporting approved ERP/HCM business requirements.
Translate functional specifications into technical designs and development requirements.
Develop and enhance approved technical objects using Oracle Fusion and related cloud-development technologies.
Apply established development, security, performance, and coding standards.
Review and optimize technical solutions for reliability, maintainability, and performance.

Design and develop custom applications and user interfaces using Oracle VBCS.
Develop and enhance OTBI reports, Smart Forms, and related reporting solutions.




Translate user requirements into effective digital workflows and reporting outputs.
Troubleshoot data, performance, formatting, and execution issues affecting reports and extensions.
Support approved AI Agent and automation use cases within the Oracle Fusion environment.

Develop and consume REST APIs and SOAP Web Services for approved integrations.
Develop and maintain data mappings, payload structures, and interface logic.
Monitor and troubleshoot failed API transactions and integration processes.
Analyze error messages, payloads, logs, and transaction statuses to determine root causes.
Coordinate complex integration issues with Integration, Infrastructure, Oracle, and relevant application teams.

Analyze escalated technical incidents involving VBCS, OTBI, Smart Forms, APIs, extensions, and integrations.
Perform detailed root-cause analysis using logs, payloads, error codes, system behavior, and available diagnostic tools.
Resolve technical defects and implement approved corrective fixes.
Identify recurring technical issues and recommend permanent corrective solutions.
Escalate architecture, product, infrastructure, or complex platform issues to L3, Oracle, or relevant specialist teams.

Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, API documentation, data mappings, and deployment instructions.
Maintain documentation for VBCS applications, reports, integrations, extensions, and technical fixes.
Maintain technical knowledge articles and reusable development components.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, automation, user experience, and technical support efficiency.
Share technical knowledge and development practices with application and support teams.
