- Design and implement features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment and monitoring
- Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code and actively participate in code reviews
- Break down ambiguous problems into explicit technical plans and execute independently
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions within your team's scope of ownership
- Debug and resolve complex production issues, including on-call rotation participation
- Mentor junior engineers (IC1/IC2) through pairing, code review, and design discussions
- Contribute to and champion engineering best practices (testing, documentation, CI/CD)
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives as an active contributor
