Requirements

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar

- Lead, support and give transparent direction to the team

- Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and hygiene

- Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally

- Oversee responsible service and handling of alcohol

- Help ensure the restaurant and bar operate smoothly during busy periods

- Ideally 3+ years' experience in a senior restaurant, bar or hospitality management role

- Good spoken English and confident communication skills

- Comfortable leading a team and giving clear instructions

- Confident dealing with customers and resolving complaints

- Experience working with alcohol and managing a bar

- Mature, reliable and able to work independently

- Comfortable living and working in a smaller, more isolated location such as Kaikōura
