Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead high-performing software engineering teams and drive the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical leadership, people management, project execution, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

- Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across different technology stacks.
- Define engineering strategy, architecture direction, and technology roadmap.
- Drive adoption of engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality software delivery.

Project & Delivery Management
- Plan, track, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Establish KPIs and monitor delivery performance.
- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, and Business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.

People Management
- Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Support employee engagement and professional growth.

Agile & Process Excellence
- Champion Agile/Scrum practices across teams.
- Improve engineering productivity through automation and DevOps practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and release management activities.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.
- Provide regular status updates, project metrics, and executive-level reports.
- Translate business objectives into technical execution plans.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure successful project outcomes.





Technical Oversight
- Review solution designs and architectural decisions.
- Ensure code quality through reviews and engineering governance.
- Drive cloud adoption, CI/CD implementation, observability, and reliability engineering practices.
- Support production incident management and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills
- Strong experience in software development and system architecture.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation.
- Understanding of security, performance optimization, and scalability concepts.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integration technologies.

Management Skills
- Solid leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Budgeting, resource planning, and capacity management experience.
- Risk management and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing teams of 15+ engineers.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Protected).
- Relevant certifications such as:
- PMP
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- SAFe Agilist
- AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications

- Experience working with global distributed teams.
