Safebooks Global is seeking enthusiastic and career-oriented Junior / Trainee US Tax Executives to join our expanding US Tax team.

This role is ideal for recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience aiming to build a successful career in US Taxation. The selected candidates will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to US Individual and Business Tax Returns, working alongside experienced tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing US Individual and Business Tax Returns.
- Work with tax forms including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 1041.
- Prepare tax workpapers and supporting schedules.
- Organize client financial documents and tax records.
- Enter financial data into tax software.
- Assist with tax reconciliations and adjustments.
- Support tax research and compliance activities.
- Respond to review comments and implement corrections.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client files.
- Coordinate with senior tax professionals to meet deadlines.
- Learn US tax laws, IRS regulations, and relevant tax software.

Required Qualifications

- Education
- CA Inter (Preferred)
- B.Com / M.Com
- MBA (Finance)




- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

- Experience

- Freshers are welcome.
- 0–2 years of US Tax or Accounting experience preferred.

- Required Skills

- Strong accounting fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of taxation.
- Good analytical and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- MS Excel (Basic to Intermediate proficiency).
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.

- Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of US Taxation.
- Exposure to tax software (e.g., Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte) is an advantage.
- Experience in an Accounting Outsourcing/KPO environment is a plus.
