About Quixotic Vacations

Quixotic Vacations is a boutique travel company specialising in personalised and bespoke travel experiences across India and worldwide. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Ticketing Executive to join our team in Noida.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of airline ticketing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage bookings while ensuring a smooth experience for our clients and travel consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle domestic and international air ticketing , including new bookings, reissues, cancellations, refunds and schedule changes.
- Make flight reservations and issue tickets accurately within required timelines.
- Check fare rules, baggage allowances, cancellation and amendment policies before ticket issuance.
- Provide accurate fare options and advise the team on suitable routing and fare conditions.
- Handle ticketing-related queries, changes, cancellations and disruptions efficiently.
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators and internal teams for booking confirmations and issue resolution.
- Ensure all passenger and booking details are accurate before ticket issuance.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all ticketing transactions.
- Monitor airline schedule changes, cancellations and operational updates and communicate these promptly.
- Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, ticketing procedures and industry developments .
- Support the travel team with urgent and time-sensitive ticketing requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of service while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international air ticketing .
- Hands-on experience with GDS / airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre or similar.
- Good understanding of fare rules, reissues, cancellations, refunds and ticketing procedures .
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure, particularly with urgent or last-minute travel requirements.
- Good knowledge of airline policies, routes and ticketing practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.

The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced travel environment and take ownership of tasks from booking through to final ticket issuance and any subsequent changes.
