About the Role:

n

Assistant/Associate Professor - AI/ML

n

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

- n
- Teach Applied AI/ML: Design and deliver practical, project-based courses in AI/ML, including Python for ML, Statistics, ML Algorithms, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, MLOps, and Generative AI.n
- Develop Industry-Relevant Curriculum: Design and continuously update AI/ML curriculum to reflect current industry tools, techniques, research, and best practices.n
- Mentor Student Projects: Guide students through hands-on AI/ML projects, providing technical direction, code reviews, and feedback based on industry standards.n
- Guide & Mentor Students: Advise students on developing practical AI/ML skills, understanding career pathways, and preparing for internships and placements.n
- Stay Current: Bring the latest AI/ML research, tools, technologies, and industry trends into the classroom.n
- Collaborate: Work closely with faculty members, academic leaders, and industry partners to create a unified and effective learning experience.n
- Assess Practical Skills: Design and evaluate assignments, projects, examinations,



and assessments focused on real-world applications.n
- Academic Leadership: Contribute to academic initiatives, faculty development, research activities, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.n
- Qualifications and Requirements:n
- M.Tech or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; or UGC NET-qualified with a relevant Masters degree in the respective field.n
- 5+ years of relevant skilled/academic experience in AI/ML, Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related domain.n
- Proven experience in teaching, training, mentoring, research, or building and deploying AI/ML solutions.n
- Strong understanding of core ML algorithms, classical and deep learning techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, model evaluation, and statistics.n
- Strong understanding of current AI/ML research, tools, technologies, and industry trends.n
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality technical courses and practical learning experiences.n
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing students into industry-ready technology professionals.n

Technical Skills required:

- Expert-level Python programming.n
- Strong proficiency with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.n
- Hands-on experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.n
- Strong SQL and data handling skills.n
- Understanding of MLOps practices and tools including Git, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure.n
- Strong knowledge of AI domains including NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and LLMs.n
