of Moodys Investors Service, is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Kolkata / Bangalore
Qualifications: B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, M.Tech- IT.
Experience: 9-12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery for one or more product/engineering squads (8-12 developers), owning
scope, timelines, risks, and quality.
Run Scrum/Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives); manage backlog
health, velocity, and predictable releases.
Stay hands-on: review code/design, unblock engineers, and contribute directly when needed in at least
one of .NET, Java, or Python.
Partner with product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable,
well-estimated engineering plans.

¢ Champion engineering quality - unit testing, code coverage, CI/CD discipline, and secure coding
practices (OWASP, secure SDLC).
¢ Track and communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly to both technical teams and business
leadership.
¢ Coach and mentor developers; drive continuous improvement in team throughput and quality.
¢ Juggle multiple parallel workstreams and shifting priorities without dropping delivery commitments.
¢ Plan projects keeping key aspects like capacity data, velocity trends,



dependency and risk analysis in
mind.
¢ Act as the guardian of delivery quality and the customer experience, and able to articulate
consequences of compromising on quality, technical-debt and reputation.
¢ Negotiate scope, timeline, and resource trade-offs with stakeholders proposing viable alternatives
(phased delivery, MVP-first, re-prioritization).
¢ Set and manage realistic expectations early, surfacing any shortcomings on capacity, clarity and final
delivery.
¢ Protect organizational investment from scope creep, unplanned work and reactive churn, ensuring
changes flow through proper impact assessment and re-planning rather than being absorbed silently.
Required Skills/Abilities:
¢ 9-12 years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading/managing teams of 8-12 developers.
¢ Hands-on proficiency in at least one core backend stack: .NET, Java, or Python.
¢ Working knowledge of a modern frontend framework: Angular or React.
¢ Robust command of Agile/Scrum delivery; experience as Scrum Master or Agile lead.
¢ Solid understanding of unit testing practices and application security fundamentals (secure SDLC,
OWASP Top 10).
¢ Excellent business communication - able to interface confidently with clients, executives, and cross-
functional stakeholders.
¢ Proven ability to multitask across concurrent projects and priorities.
¢ Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with senior business stakeholders, while preserving
trust and long-term relationships.
¢ Sound estimation and risk-management judgment able to defend timelines with credible data and
not putting quality at stake.
Nice-to-Have:
¢ Experience across more than one core stack, or full-stack exposure.
¢ Cloud experience (Azure / AWS / GCP) and CI/CD tooling.
¢ Certifications: PMP, CSM/PSM, or SAFe.
¢ Domain experiences relevant to the team's product area.
¢ Comfortable in holding the line under pressure and managing conflict maturely.
Understanding of Quality Processes like ISO, CMM, etc.
Information Security Responsibility - Maintain Confidentiality and Integrity of organization information.
Compensation: per Company pay-scale.
