Abacus Staffing & Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for an MNC chance for an experienced ServiceNow HAM / Hardware Asset Management professional.

Role: ServiceNow HAM – Hardware Asset Management
Experience: 10+ Years in Asset Management with strong ServiceNow HAM experience
Work Mode: Remote
Shift: US – East Coast | 05:30 PM – 02:30 AM IST
Joining: Immediate to Short Notice Period
Interview: Laptop/Desktop mandatory | No mobile login | Screen sharing required throughout the interview

MUST-HAVE SKILLS – NON-NEGOTIABLE

Strong understanding of Enterprise Server / Data Center environments
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM / CMDB
Strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management
Experience with hardware support models, warranty and lifecycle planning
OEM / Third-Party Vendor Management & Negotiation
Knowledge of Data Center operations and infrastructure dependencies
Experience managing EOL / EOS hardware and refresh planning
Strong understanding of asset inventory, reconciliation and governance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Server Hardware Lifecycle Management

Manage the complete server hardware lifecycle from procurement and deployment through maintenance, refresh and decommissioning

Track EOL/EOS milestones and drive proactive hardware refresh planning

Maintain accurate and audit-ready asset records in ServiceNow HAM / CMDB

Coordinate deinstallation, data sanitization and compliant asset disposal





Vendor & Contract Management

Manage OEM and third-party hardware support contracts

Track warranty, SLA and maintenance coverage

Handle contract renewals, co-terming and support strategy

Evaluate OEM vs. TPM support models and identify cost optimization opportunities

Minimize risks associated with unsupported or aging infrastructure

Risk & Availability Management

Ensure critical production servers have appropriate support coverage

Work with infrastructure and operations teams on contract-aware escalation processes

Reduce operational risk related to unsupported hardware

Financial Planning & Optimization

Forecast hardware refresh cycles and maintenance renewals

Support CAPEX/OPEX planning and TCO analysis

Provide data-driven inputs for budgeting and vendor negotiations

Operational Integration

Collaborate with Infrastructure, Data Center, Engineering and Procurement teams

Support Incident, Problem and Change Management processes

Maintain accurate asset and contract information for financial, security and compliance audits

Process, Governance & Automation

Improve hardware asset management processes, standards and governance

Drive reconciliation between Discovery tools, ServiceNow CMDB/HAM and contract systems

Ensure asset tagging, inventory accuracy and periodic reconciliation
