We are hiring for an experienced semi qualified charted accountant
for a global supply chain/ logistics company based in united states that has its operations in Mysuru
This offers a great exposure to the accounting and finance with the knowledge of articleship, GL ,Controlling & Financial reports
Role & responsibilities:
General Ledger & Accounting
- Manage and maintain the General Ledger ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
Financial Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial schedule.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closure and reporting.
Controllership
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor financial controls and ensure adherence to governance requirements.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiency.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing required documentation and explanations.
Compliance & Stakeholder Management
- Support statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records.
- Work closely with business teams to address accounting and reporting requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of General Ledger Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Understanding of Ind AS, Accounting Standards, and financial controls.
- Experience in month-end close and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
