Job Summary

V2 Retail Ltd. is seeking an experienced and result-oriented MSA Head to lead Main Storage Area (MSA) operations at its Bangalore Warehouse. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, storage optimization, stock accuracy, and seamless coordination with inbound, putaway, picking, and dispatch functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong warehouse operations expertise, hands-on SAP knowledge, and excellent analytical skills in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end operations of the Main Storage Area (MSA) and ensure smooth inventory flow across warehouse functions.
- Ensure accurate storage, location mapping, bin management, and inventory visibility within the warehouse.
- Monitor stock availability and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
- Drive adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices and monitor ageing inventory to minimize stock losses and operational inefficiencies.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement best storage practices to improve productivity.
- Coordinate closely with Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Dispatch,



and Inventory Control teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- Analyze inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, stock ageing, storage utilization, and productivity metrics.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the MSA team to achieve operational excellence and productivity targets.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports to warehouse and supply chain leadership.
- Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing errors, and improving inventory control.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and storage processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and warehouse-related transactions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent team management and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail warehouse environment.
