Position: Backend Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Go Backend and SQL Developer to help build and maintain APIs and data services for a business application working with sales and lead data.

What You Will Do -

- Build and maintain REST APIs in Go using Gin.
- Develop domain-focused backend components, including handlers, services, repositories, validation, and tests.
- Design and optimize SQL Server/Azure SQL queries, tables, indexes, migrations, and stored procedures.
- Manage database changes through Flyway migrations, including repeatable database objects such as stored procedures and
- security policies.
- Implement and maintain outlet- and market-level access scopes.
- Work with SQL Server Row-Level Security (RLS), session context, filter predicates, and block predicates to ensure users can
- access and modify only authorized data.
- Maintain the access-scope lifecycle: identity-derived permissions, hashed and expiring scopes, table-valued parameters, and




- secure database session setup.
- Collaborate with frontend, platform, and data teams on API contracts, authentication, Azure deployment, and observability.
- Write focused unit and integration tests and troubleshoot production issues using structured logs

Requirements -

- Backend development experience, with solid hands-on Go experience.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server or Azure SQL, including query performance, transactions, schema design, and stored
- procedures.
- Practical experience with database migration tooling, preferably Flyway.
- Understanding of API design, authentication and authorization, and secure data-access patterns.
- Experience with Go's database/SQL, and ideally GORM and SQL Server drivers.
- Comfortable writing automated tests in Go and working with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
