We are looking for a Lead Web Developer to take technical ownership of our web development initiatives across a growing portfolio of e-commerce brands, internal applications and digital products.

You will work across Shopify storefronts, custom web applications, APIs, integrations, internal tools and emerging AI-powered workflows, while collaborating closely with creative, marketing, e-commerce and business teams..

Role & responsibilities

- Own the development of high-quality, scalable and high-performing e-commerce websites and web applications.
- Architect, build and maintain Shopify storefronts and custom web applications.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Work with React and modern frontend frameworks to build production-ready experiences.
- Translate designs and business requirements into polished, functional web experiences.
- Develop custom features, reusable components and web applications.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Integrate e-commerce platforms with CRMs, ERPs, marketing platforms and other external systems.
- Take ownership of technical decisions, development approach and implementation quality.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across websites and internal applications.
- Optimize websites for performance, scalability, security, SEO and accessibility.
- Work with backend architecture, databases and cloud services where required.
- Follow modern development practices using Git, GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
- Maintain clean, scalable, maintainable and well-documented code.
- Establish and follow development best practices, coding standards and reusable patterns.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and AI-enabled tools.
- Research and implement modern technologies that improve product and development workflows.
- Collaborate closely with designers,



marketing, e-commerce and other stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of professional web development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Strong experience with React.js or modern frontend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Shopify development and Liquid.
- Experience building custom web applications and e-commerce functionality.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of backend architecture, databases and cloud services.
- Experience with Git, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with CRM, ERP, marketing and other business systems.
- Strong understanding of website performance optimization.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently take ownership of projects from requirements through deployment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Shopify Plus experience.
- Node.js or other backend development experience.
- Experience with SaaS products or internal business applications.
- Experience with AI development tools and workflow automation.
- Experience with Framer or WordPress.
