About the Role

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer / Product Engineer to own end-to-end design, development, and validation of vehicle structures, hydraulic systems, and drive components for our electric off-road, agriculture, and industrial vehicles. This is a hands-on role - you'll be personally running structural, modal, and fatigue analysis, designing hydraulic and gearbox systems in-house, and taking your designs from concept through prototype build and field testing.

What You Will Do

1. Design and develop vehicle structures, frames, and chassis systems for electric off-road, agriculture, and industrial vehicles
2. Design hydraulic systems in-house, including cylinder layouts, valve placement, and load balancing
3. Develop and optimize kinematic mechanisms for lifting, steering/articulation, and movement systems
4.



Design and select gearboxes, and integrate mechanical transmission and drive system packaging in-house
5. Run engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and FEA (structural, modal, fatigue) yourself
6. Generate 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks
7. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams
8. Build prototypes, run field tests, and iterate on designs based on validation results

What We're Looking For

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
2. 3-6 years of hands-on design experience in off-highway/heavy machinery - construction equipment, farming machinery, or material movers (passenger car/two-wheeler automotive background does not fit)
3. Robust, demonstrable hands-on experience in at least 2-3 of: structural design, hydraulic circuit/actuator design, kinematic linkage design, gearbox design and selection, and FEA
4. Proficiency in SolidWorks (mandatory)
5. Prior hands-on experience working on EV drivetrain components and packaging (mandatory, not just exposure)
6. Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and field validation of mechanical systems
