JOB REQUIREMENT POSITION TITLE: PRE / ADMISISON COUNSELLOR

BRANCH: BANJARA HILLS, MADHAPUR

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Parent Counselling & Enquiries

Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, emails, and other communication channels.

Understand the requirements and expectations of parents and provide appropriate information about the school.

Explain the schools curriculum, academic programmes, activities, facilities, fee structure, transport, and other relevant information.

Build a positive relationship with prospective parents and address their queries professionally.

2. Admission Process

Manage enquiries and leads from initial contact through admission closure.

Schedule and coordinate campus visits, interactions, assessments, and meetings with parents/students.

Follow up regularly with prospective parents regarding admission decisions and documentation.

Ensure all required admission documents are collected and verified.

Coordinate with academic, accounts, administration, and other departments during the admission process.

Maintain accurate and updated records of enquiries, follow-ups, applications, and admissions.

3. Lead Conversion & Follow-up

Follow up with prospective parents through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other approved channels.





Track leads and ensure timely follow-up to maximise conversions.

Identify reasons for non-conversion and share feedback with the Admissions Head.

Meet assigned admission and conversion targets.

4. Campus Visits

Conduct professional and engaging campus tours for prospective parents.

Highlight the schools strengths, academic approach, infrastructure, student development programmes, and achievements.

Ensure a positive experience for visitors and prospective families.

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.

Good convincing and negotiation abilities.

Customer-service-oriented approach.

Strong follow-up and lead management skills.

Ability to work with admission targets and deadlines.

Good knowledge of MS Office

Ability to handle parents professionally and resolve queries effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree in any discipline.

Min 3 years of experience in school admissions, counselling, education, sales background.

Experience in a school/education setting will be preferred.
