Role & responsibilities

- Ensure the correct execution of month-end closing procedures and controls, including predefined FRC controls, and maintain the quality of reporting to headquarters.
- Perform monthly account analyses in accordance with the predefined account mapping.
- Prepare monthly analytics according to the defined schedule and present them when required, including Finance Review and Tax Review meetings.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives involving process documentation, FRC, testing, audits, and related activities.
- Coordinate with Local Finance on activities within scope, including account analysis, analytics, and M&A-related; requirements.
- Support and guide semi-senior analysts by sharing experience, knowledge, system expertise, and best practices.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients and stakeholders and work closely with different areas of the organization.
- Understand the end-to-end process and its workflow impact, and evaluate and propose process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Chartered Accountant.

- Work Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, finance,



or a related field.
- Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of month-end closing, account analysis, financial reporting controls, analytics, and end-to-end reporting processes.
- Decision-Making: Major decisions are generally taken with the next higher hierarchical level; however, the role may make timely decisions independently and operates with a high degree of autonomy.
- Leadership: No formal leadership responsibility is required, but the role provides guidance and knowledge support to Analysts.
- Core Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, stakeholder management, attention to detail, collaboration, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Technical Skills

- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; advanced Excel and macros are valued.
- Solid working knowledge of SAP and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, particularly IFRS.
- Experience with financial reporting controls and FRC processes.
- Experience in a shared services, multinational, or GCC workplace is preferred.
