Role : Electrical Design Engineer
Location : Isgec Heavy Engineering Ltd, Chennai
Qualification : B.E. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Experience Required : 5 -12 Years in Power Plant / Material Handling EPC Projects

Core Responsibilities

Detailed Engineering & Design: Handle end-to-end design, specifications, offer evaluations, and vendor document reviews for HT/LT panels, VFDs, DG sets, DC systems, and plant equipment sizing.

Schematics & Diagrams: Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and scheme drawings featuring complete protections and metering for plants, HT/LT panels, LTPCC panels, and MCCs.

Layouts & System Design: Oversee input, review, and design of cable tray routing, earthing layouts,



lighting (including lighting calculations), and lightning protection systems.

Facility & Plant Layouts: Review detailed panel layouts and trench/insert plate drawings for Control Rooms, Switchyards, and MCC Rooms.

BOQ & Scheduling: Estimate BOQs for cables, trays, earthing, lighting, and supports; manage inter-connection schedules, HT/LT power cable sizing, and full plant cable routing.
