Role & responsibilities

Monitoring of incoming inspection of parts along with associates.

• Monitoring of receipt material inspection and preparation of inspection reports (domestic, CKD, SPD mechanical parts and job-work inspection).

• Coordinate supplier PDI, 4M change and layout inspection; review monthly inspection reports received with each lot.

• Prepare and maintain the incoming inspection register/tracker.

• Handle line issues related to supplier parts.

• Material clearance and rejection punching in SAP.

• Inform suppliers of incoming/line rejections through mail.

• Raise QAN to suppliers for defects reported at incoming/line, as per QAN criteria.

• Conduct part layout inspection as per L3 drawing for new part development/localization and share reports with Sourcing/Supplier.

• Implement TGR/TGW at supplier end during the development stage.

• Supplier visits for new model development.

• Support assembly fitment trials for recent parts.

• Hand-hold associates for skill improvement and guide material inspection.

• Work exposure and ability to prepare documents as per ISO and IATF requirements.
