Role & responsibilities

- Current supplier development (Source identification, Feasibility check (Finance & Technical), Cost, Quality & FPA) for Cycle Parts/ Electricals
- Development of alternate sources, capacity analysis & supplier management (critical issues)
- BoM cost maintenance through Cost innovation by using tools (Negotiation/VAVE/Alternate Source/Annual Contract)
- New part development, FPA Clearance and PP Lot Arrangement
- New part pricing management and Value engineering
- FPA Clearance, Line Trial and regularize to mass production (CI Projects)
- Technical resolution during part development
- Competitive price management (RFQ Float, Quote Compare and Management Approval)
- Competitor benchmarking & analysis - (i.e. specs, procurement strategy, pricing, quantity)
- Production support to sourcing (As and when required)

Supplier performance as per Haier criteria and take action (if needed)
