As an experienced Consultant/Sr. Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality work products within agreed timelines. Depending on project requirements, you may mentor junior team members, collaborate with onsite/offshore teams, and work closely with stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.

Work You'll Do

- Apply industry knowledge during requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise across the complete software development and infrastructure lifecycle, including architecture, automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and estimation activities.
- Conduct peer reviews and contribute to maintaining engineering quality standards and best practices.
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure and application delivery processes.
- Build and share technical knowledge, support project documentation, and contribute to team capability development.

Key Responsibilities

GCP Infrastructure





- Design and implement GCP Landing Zones, resource hierarchy, and multi-project architectures using Organizations, Folders, and Projects.
- Provision and manage GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Deployment Manager, and Ansible.
- Configure and optimize GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Bigtable.
- Design and implement networking solutions including VPCs, Shared VPCs, Subnets, Firewall Rules, Cloud NAT, Load Balancers, VPNs, Interconnect, and Private Service Connect.
- Manage IAM roles, service accounts, security policies, and governance controls using Google Cloud best practices.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.

DevOps & Platform Engineering

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or Azure DevOps.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Manage source control, branching strategies, release management, and deployment automation.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices including security scanning, secrets management, compliance checks, and policy enforcement.




- Support observability initiatives using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and operational excellence.

Must-Have Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in GCP Infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of GCP networking, IAM, security, governance, and multi-project environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and containerized application deployments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of cloud security services including Cloud KMS, Secret Manager, Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, SRE, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Desired Qualifications

- 6-10 years of experience in GCP Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Google Cloud Certifications such as:
- Professional Cloud Architect
- Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Professional Cloud Network Engineer

- Experience with cost optimization and cloud governance using Billing, Budgets, Recommender, and FinOps best practices.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud transformation and modernization programs.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
