E3 New Product Development (NPD)

Location: Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai

Job Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled professional to join our New Product Development (NPD) team. The role involves end-to-end product development, formulation, OEM requirements, laboratory evaluation, scale-up, and product performance benchmarking.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in Paints, Coatings, Polymers, Sealants, or related specialty chemical industries, with a strong understanding of product development and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive end-to-end current product development activities from concept and formulation through commercialization.
- Develop and optimize formulations based on product specifications, customer requirements, and performance parameters.
- Work on OEM product development projects, understanding technical requirements and application needs.
- Conduct laboratory trials, formulation evaluation, and product testing.
- Coordinate and support lab-to-plant scale-up activities to ensure consistent product performance and manufacturability.
- Conduct performance benchmarking against existing products and competing formulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing,



Quality, Technical Services, and other relevant functions.
- Troubleshoot formulation and product performance issues and recommend technical improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, trial reports, and product development records.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within the product development function.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Paint Technology, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Relevant experience in Paints, Coatings, Polymers, Sealants, or Specialty Chemicals R&D; / Product Development.
- Strong understanding of formulation development, product testing, and scale-up processes.
- Experience in OEM product development and performance benchmarking will be preferred.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within 30 days will be prioritized.
