Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure API Developer with robust hands-on expertise in designing, developing, securing, and deploying cloud-native REST APIs on Microsoft Azure.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business and integration requirements into API specifications and technical designs, developing enterprise-grade REST APIs, and securely hosting and managing them using Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and integration requirements and translate them into API specifications and technical designs.
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain enterprise REST APIs.
- Develop and host APIs using Azure Functions and/or Azure App Service.
- Publish, secure, monitor, and manage APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).
- Implement API security,



including authentication, authorization, throttling, policies, and access controls.
- Use Azure Key Vault and Managed Identity for secure secrets and identity management.
- Work with API documentation and testing tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman.
- Integrate APIs with enterprise applications, backend systems, and data sources.
- Support integration with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and custom connectors where applicable.
- Enable secure API-based connectivity with data platforms such as Snowflake.
- Work with Azure monitoring and logging services such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD and deployment activities.
