- Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Own service/API design for lending, collections, payments, customer, accounting and enterprise integration workflows.
- Design microservices, asynchronous integrations and resilient transaction flows for high-volume systems.
- Review code and solution designs; guide 2-5 year Java developers on engineering standards and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks across application, API and database layers and implement corrective actions.
- Implement secure API authentication/authorization, validation, audit logging and secrets handling in coordination with Security/DevOps.
- Participate in production support, RCA, release planning and technical documentation.
