Job Purpose

To assist the surgical team in providing protected, efficient, and hygienic operation theater services before, during, and after surgeries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare the Operation Theater before each surgery.
2. Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and required supplies.
3. Assist doctors and nurses during surgical procedures.
4. Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control standards.
5. Handle surgical instruments safely and efficiently.
6. Check the availability and functionality of OT equipment.
7. Assist in cleaning and preparing the OT after each procedure.
8. Maintain proper records of instruments, consumables, and OT activities.
9. Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and emergency procedures.
10. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, CSSD, pharmacy,



and other departments as required.
11. Report any equipment issues, shortages, or incidents to the OT In-charge.
12. Maintain patient privacy, safety, and confidentiality at all times
