Excelacom Technologies is looking for an experienced

Hands-on Senior Developer (3 -5 years) building Spring Boot microservices-based products in the Telecom domain, deployed in cloud environments. A technical, individual-contributor role focused on writing production-grade code designing, building, and shipping features alongside the team. We want a strong developer with excellent communication skills who works confidently in an existing codebase and delivers clean, reliable, well-tested code.

Technical skills

- Core: Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem, microservices, REST API design.
- Messaging & streaming: Kafka / RabbitMQ.
- Data: Oracle and relational databases (JPA/Hibernate).
- Distributed systems: service boundaries, resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Bulkhead, Rate Limiter, Time Limiter), caching strategies, large datasets, cross-service exception handling.
- Security: OAuth2 / JWT authentication and authorization.
- Cloud: containerized microservices on AWS (EKS / ECS / Fargate).
- Design: applied design patterns; maintainable, testable code within the established architecture.

What you'll do

- Communicate and collaborate pair on hard problems,



join design/code reviews, and clearly explain your approach, trade-offs, and status.
- Build and ship microservices production-quality Spring Boot code and REST APIs, from development to deployment.
- Work in existing codebases navigate telecom microservices, follow existing patterns, and extend or refactor with care.
- Deliver resilient, cloud-ready services — apply resilience and caching patterns for reliable operation in the cloud.
- Integrate messaging and data — event-driven flows with Kafka/RabbitMQ over Oracle relational databases.
- Uphold quality — write unit and integration tests and own the quality of what you deliver.

What we're looking for

- Valuable communication skills — explains decisions clearly; works well with architects, peers, and stakeholders.
- 3- 5 years hands-on Java / Spring Boot microservices development, ideally in product development.
- Telecom domain experience, with BSS/OSS exposure (a strong plus).
- Solid developer — clean, efficient, well-tested code delivered reliably.
- Cloud experience — built and deployed microservices in cloud environments.
- Ownership — end-to-end responsibility from implementation to production.
