Role & responsibilities

The role is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, integration and optimisation of SAP Concur solutions, supporting the company's Travel, Expense, Request and reporting capabilities.

Working closely with business stakeholders, IT partners and project teams, the analyst drives technical best practices, leads global implementations and system enhancements, and delivers scalable solutions that improve compliance, user experience and operational efficiency. The role also provides technical leadership, mentors team members and evaluates opportunities for continuous improvement, automation and innovation across the SAP Concur platform.

In addition, the role supports healthcare reporting requirements through the collection, analysis and distribution of Travel & Expense data to compliance stakeholders.

Healthcare Reporting - Medical Device Manufacturers are required to report on an annual basis to the Federal Government and various states on certain dealings they have with Healthcare Professionals. This position will be responsible for annual collection and distribution of Concur spend data to the compliance team.

KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end SAP Concur implementation, enhancement and optimisation projects.
- Design, configure and optimise SAP Concur Expense, Travel, Request and Reporting solutions in line with business requirements and global standards.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing and support of SAP Concur integrations with ERP, HR and other enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Workday, ensuring data integrity through interface validation, field mapping and reconciliation activities.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Configure travel and expense policies, audit rules, approval workflows, forms and advanced system functionality to support business and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and functional issues and provide Level 3 support and escalation guidance.
- Conduct solution workshops, design reviews, testing activities and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mentor colleagues and provide technical leadership across SAP Concur initiatives and projects.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation,



configuration guides and knowledge management materials.
- Evaluate emerging SAP Concur capabilities, automation opportunities and innovative solutions to improve compliance, efficiency and user experience.
- Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation and continuous improvement across the Travel & Expense ecosystem whilst developing technical capability across the organisation through mentoring, coaching and knowledge sharing.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Position Requirements

The position requires an individual who can think strategically and act independently while managing complex technical solutions and stakeholder requirements. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable SAP Concur solutions. As a technical leader within the Global Travel & Expense team, the position requires a strong understanding of Travel & Expense processes, enterprise system integrations, project delivery and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business or a related field.
- 8+ years of SAP Concur experience, including implementation, configuration and support of Travel & Expense solutions.
- Expertise across SAP Concur Expense, Travel, Request and Reporting modules.
- Proven track record delivering Concur enhancements, integrations and process improvements.
- Understanding of Travel & Expense, Accounts Payable and related financial processes.
- Experience supporting global deployments, stakeholder engagement and organisational change initiatives.
- Knowledge of SAP Concur APIs, reporting tools and enterprise system integrations.
- Experience providing technical leadership across SAP Concur projects and initiatives.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SAP S/4HANA integrations, automation technologies and emerging SAP Concur capabilities preferred.
