Role & responsibilities

• Manage and maintain on-premises Ubuntu-based infrastructure

• Assist in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure on AWS

• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines for various environments

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability

• Respond to system incidents and perform root cause analysis

• Develop tools/scripts in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages to automate repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders for seamless deployments

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Maintain and improve version control practices with Git

• Maintain security and compliance through secure CI/CD practices, secret management, and vulnerability scanning

• Handle cost optimization, scaling, and performance tuning in cloud environments.

Preferred candidate profile

- Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals,



particularly Ubuntu
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)
- Solid working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python preferred)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Understanding of networking, load balancing, and DNS management
- Experience integrating QA automation into CI/CD
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and principles
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset
