- Operate and monitor EHV (400/220 kV) substation equipment as per SOPs, including transformers, circuit breakers, CT/PT, LA, ACDB/DCDB, and battery systems.
- Ensure continuous monitoring of C&R; panels and protection systems.
- Perform switching, isolation, and restoration activities with proper tagging and interlocking.
- Implement Permit to Work (PTW), LCP, and maintain safety checklists.
- Monitor SCADA, relays, alarms, and event reporting; basic understanding of protection systems required.
- Adhere to electrical safety standards, PPE usage, grounding practices, and OHS compliance.
- Respond to faults, tripping, and emergency Situations, including fire incidents.
- Coordinate and communicate with LDC / WRPC / MSETCL and other stakeholders.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance; maintain operational logs and records.
- Promote energy conservation, housekeeping, and resource optimization at site.
