Job Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic professional for Wind Asset Management who will be responsible for maximizing Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) performance, asset reliability, energy generation, and operational efficiency across utility-scale wind assets. The role will focus on SCADA-based performance monitoring, PLC troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), budget management, cost optimization, and effective resource allocation to enhance asset performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Performance & Monitoring

- Monitor fleet and site-level performance of WTGs through SCADA and Remote Monitoring Systems.
- Analyze asset KPIs including Availability, PLF, Energy Generation, and Generation Losses.
- Identify underperforming turbines and drive performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor forecasting and scheduling compliance.

Reliability Engineering & RCA

- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurrent turbine failures and generation losses.
- Investigate major breakdowns and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive reliability enhancement projects across wind assets.
- Monitor critical fault trends and ensure timely closure.

WTG, PLC & SCADA Management

- Monitor and analyze WTG health and operational parameters.
- Troubleshoot PLC-based turbine control systems and fault logs.
- Perform data-driven diagnostics using SCADA and remote monitoring tools.
- Coordinate with OEMs for fault resolution and reliability improvement initiatives.

Budget Planning & Cost Optimization





- Prepare annual O&M; budgets and maintenance forecasts for wind assets.
- Monitor budget utilization and ensure adherence to approved financial plans.
- Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives across maintenance, contracts, and spares management.
- Track OPEX performance and recommend cost reduction opportunities without compromising asset reliability.
- Support vendor negotiations and contract performance management.

Resource Planning & Asset Management

- Drive effective resource allocation across multiple wind sites and assets.
- Optimize manpower utilization, maintenance schedules, and spare parts deployment.
- Support long-term asset lifecycle planning and plant reliability initiatives.
- Ensure productive utilization of available resources to maximize asset performance.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with Site O&M; Teams, OEMs, Asset Managers, Engineering, SCM, Finance, and HSE teams.
- Participate in performance reviews and management reporting.
- Provide recommendations for generation enhancement and reliability improvement.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in utility-scale Wind Power Plants.
- Exposure to OEMs such as Suzlon, Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, GE, Nordex, Enercon, or Inox.
- Strong understanding of turbine performance, reliability, and asset optimization.
- Hands-on experience in data analytics, SCADA monitoring, and fault diagnostics.
