The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer who can take ownership across web, mobile, backend, data, and AI-powered products. You should be comfortable making architecture decisions, shipping production software, and ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

A key part of this role is strengthening our existing applications to production-grade standards and setting engineering practices for future development. You will also be responsible for the end-to-end development of new projects, from architecture and planning through to launch and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end development of new projects, from architecture through launch and maintenance.
- Build web and mobile interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
- Develop server-side logic and APIs using Node.js with Express.js or Nest.js.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, queries, and access control.
- Build and maintain AI-powered product features.
- Refactor and strengthen existing codebases for reliability, security, and performance.
- Set up testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and monitoring to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements





Must have

- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience making architecture decisions and owning systems end to end.
- Advanced proficiency in Node.js and React.js.
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Production experience with React Native and Next.js.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL: schema design, indexing, query optimization, migrations, and transactions.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Experience with microservice architecture.
- A track record of improving or stabilizing existing codebases.
- Experience writing automated tests.
- Robust Git practices and experience working through pull requests and code review.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems, with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.

Preferred

- Experience with Supabase or similar backend platforms (row-level security, auth, serverless functions).
- Experience integrating LLMs or other AI services into production applications.
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.
- Familiarity with monitoring and error tracking tools.
