ABOUT THE ROLE

The role builds the models, commercial structures, and documents that carry business proposition to governments, brands, and international partners, and closes the loop between what the field learns and what we implement. This is a thinking role, not an execution role. Presentations and decks are an output; the analysis and judgement behind them are the job.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development Support

- Build the analytical backbone for state and enterprise conversations volume modelling (including conversion of excise data to bottle counts), material splits, collection point sizing, deposit value rationale and unit economics
- Research target markets regulatory model, incumbent scheme operators, deposit values, return rates and procurement route
- Construct multi-sheet financial and impact models with live formulas that hold up when assumptions are changed
- Draft the artefacts that go out before and after meetings proposals, concept notes, policy briefs, tender responses and stakeholder decks
- Track commitments made in each engagement and drive closure on what needs to go back to the counterparty

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Serve as the standing point of contact for product and engineering; chase specs to closure and keep the respective Business backlog visible and prioritized
- Test built flows against real-world collection scenarios, log defects,



and give or withhold sign-off. Validate post-release that the change works in the field, not just in staging
- Run the cadence across functions — maintain visibility on open items, follow up on dependencies, and escalate where decisions are stalled

Analysis, Governance & Knowledge

- Maintain a single source of truth for respective Business assumptions, benchmarks and data sources used across models
- Provide market intelligence and prospect sizing to guide which states and geographies are worth pursuing
- ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

- 3–5 years in business analysis, strategy consulting, data analysis or a comparable analytical role
- Demonstrated experience building financial or operating models from ambiguous inputs and defending the assumptions behind them
- Exposure to waste management, circular economy categories is an advantage

Skills

- Advanced Excel skills — financial modelling, scenario/sensitivity analysis
- Strong working knowledge of AI tools to speed up research, analysis, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional and external stakeholder engagement
- Structured problem-solving, with comfort operating on ambiguous or incomplete data
- Familiarity with data visualization/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
