Role & responsibilities

- Own month-end closing activities for assigned companies of medium complexity, ensuring accuracy and completion within agreed timelines.
- Ensure accurate and complete project master data and supporting documentation for assigned business units.
- Manage project approvals, cost allocations, asset capitalization, write-offs, and project closure activities.
- Support improvements to process design and workflow by identifying standardization and automation opportunities through new technologies and systems, and assist with their implementation.
- Support merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects involving business lines or legal entities.
- Assist with audits, internal controls, reconciliations, and other key organizational requirements.

Escalate exceptions and risks, provide progress updates to stakeholders, and support timely issue resolution.

Preferred candidate profile

- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, project accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of month-end closing,



cost allocation, asset capitalization, write-offs, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience handling accounting activities for companies or business units of medium complexity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and work proactively with a high degree of autonomy.
- Leadership experience is not required; project experience is must.

Technical Skills

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP system is Mandatory.
- Fluent English is required.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting processes, project master data, and finance controls.
- Experience in a shared services, multinational, or GCC workplace is an advantage.
