Job Description: Telecom Supervision Engineer Data Centre Construction

1.1 Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Site Surveys and Field Work: Perform field walkthroughs to verify conduit routes, handholes, pole placements, and identify potential, obstacles.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor and direct contractors during excavation, conduit placement, cable pulling (underground/aerial), and fiber splicing as well as know the Routing of cabling from OSP through Diversed path reaching MMR/MDA/VNR
- As-Built Documentation: Record "redlines" during construction and update CAD/GIS /REVIT databases to create accurate as-built drawings of the completed infrastructure.
- ISP/Data Center Integration: Manage structured cabling, rack installations, and splicing inside the data center, ensuring seamless connection to the OSP to ISP through Fiber runners and interconnectivity of VNR/MNR to respective 2-post and 4-post rack designated to Datahall through Torpido Cable and MPO connectors . Inter building connection with Bundlded Fiber .
- Quality Assurance/Testing: Carry out and witness Perform or oversee OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer) and power meter testing to ensure fiber network integrity.




- Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Assist in obtaining Right-of-Way (ROW), permits, and easements, ensuring compliance with NESC (National Electric Safety Code).
- Client/Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing progress reports and resolving on-site issues.
- Installation and Execution of interbuilding communication system ROIP , DAS system, AV-DV for the Admin and Ancllary Buildings .
- IBMS Networking Need to get it executed with Scheduldig and prepare the scheduling inline to the installation done as per Asbuilt
