Role Overview
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to develop, enhance, and support applications in a highly customized PeopleSoft HCM environment. The role requires robust technical development skills, troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft HCM applications and customizations.
- Implement business logic and batch processes using People Code and Application Engine.
- Build and maintain interfaces and integrations using Component Interface and Integration Broker.
- Develop and modify BI Publisher reports to meet business and operational requirements.
- Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and prepare technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing,
support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and assist with deployments.
- Assess the impact of changes on existing customizations and integrations.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow established development, security, and change management standards.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
- Availability to work onsite in Fort Area, Mumbai.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting banking or PSU banking customers.
- SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning experience in a PeopleSoft environment.
