We are looking for a Finance ERP Implementation Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise ERP implementation in a manufacturing and export setting. The role will involve translating business requirements into system requirements, supporting UAT, integration testing, compliance validation, and process documentation across key Finance and business processes.
1. Business Requirements & Process Documentation
- Understand existing Finance and business processes and document As-Is and To-Be processes.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and other stakeholders to capture business requirements.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process flows, functional specifications and requirement trackers.
- Identify process gaps and support standardisation and process improvement.
2. ERP Implementation & UAT
- Support ERP implementation across key Finance processes:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Develop and execute UAT scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate with business users and implementation partners for UAT execution.
- Document test results, identify defects and track them through closure.
- Support user acceptance, sign-offs and implementation readiness.
3. Integration & Interface Testing
- Support testing of integrations between ERP and other enterprise applications.
- Validate data flow across systems and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with IT and implementation partners for resolution of integration issues.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
4. Compliance Validation
- Support validation of ERP processes against applicable Indian Finance and regulatory requirements.
- Review system configurations and business processes from a compliance perspective.
- Support testing of areas such as taxation, statutory reporting, accounting controls and regulatory requirements, as applicable.
- Coordinate with Finance and Compliance teams to document and resolve compliance gaps.
5. Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Act as a SPOC/coordinator between Finance business teams, IT, implementation partners and other functions.
- Participate in project governance meetings, steering committee reviews and SPOC coordination calls.
- Prepare status updates, issue trackers, action trackers and project dashboards.
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure of project actions and dependencies.
6. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support
- Support cutover and go-live readiness activities.
- Assist in data validation and reconciliation during migration.
- Support business users during the initial post-go-live period.
- Track and coordinate resolution of post-go-live issues.
- Document lessons learned and process improvements.
