Role & responsibilities

The Order to Cash (O2C) Team Lead manages the daily operations of the O2C cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders, billing, collections, and cash application. This role provides operational leadership, monitors team performance, resolves complex escalations, and drives process improvements to optimize working capital and enhance customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance Management

- Supervise Daily Operations: Oversee the O2C team handling order management, billing, credit control, collections, and cash application.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics (KPIs/SLA) including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), aging buckets, billing accuracy, and cash matching rates.
- Coaching & Development: Provide regular feedback, training, and performance evaluations to team members.

Process Excellence & Compliance

- Escalation Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for complex disputes, credit limits, and billing discrepancies.
- Internal Controls: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal controls,



and SOX compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the O2C workflow and implement automation or optimization initiatives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal to resolve root causes of billing and collection delays.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management regarding cash flow projections and ledger health.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the Order to Cash / Accounts Receivable cycle, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Skills: Robust analytical problem-solving, conflict resolution, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
