Responsibilities:

Apprentice Trainee Role (Entry Level)

Whats the role?

- Support geospatial data management, map production, spatial analysis, and data quality initiatives.
- Create, update, validate, and maintain geospatial and attribute datasets using GIS tools and defined processes.
- Perform data capture, digitization, geocoding, georeferencing, and data preparation activities for mapping projects.
- Conduct spatial analysis and create maps, dashboards, reports, and other geospatial visualizations to derive actionable insights.
- Execute quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.
- Investigate and resolve geospatial data discrepancies, support workflow automation, and maintain project documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in knowledge-sharing activities, and stay current with GIS technologies, mapping standards, and best industry practices.

Who Are you?

- Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Geoinformatics, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, Surveying/Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. (except BE/B.Tech)
- 0-2 years of experience in GIS, mapping, geospatial analytics, or data analysis; Fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
- Foundational knowledge of GIS concepts,



spatial data models, coordinate systems, map projections, geospatial data formats, and spatial analysis techniques.
- Hands-on exposure to GIS tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, QGIS, or similar geospatial platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with basic knowledge of Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis) considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL and Python, including their use in data analysis, reporting, and process automation, would be an advantage.
- Detail-oriented team player with strong analytical, logical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage assigned tasks, meet timelines, and work flexible shifts when required.

Training period: 1 year
