Job Summary

Monitor and analyze solar power plant performance through SCADA, generation data, PR, CUF, availability, and energy yield. Identify performance issues and generation losses, coordinate with site teams for corrective actions, and prepare accurate technical and management reports.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and validate Daily and Monthly Generation Reports (DGR/MGR)
- Monitor solar plant performance through SCADA and identify equipment alarms and abnormalities
- Monitor inverter, string, tracker, transformer, grid, and communication performance
- Track PR, CUF, plant availability, inverter availability, specific generation, and energy yield
- Analyze generation losses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare performance, loss analysis, KPI, and client MIS reports
- Develop Excel dashboards, reporting templates, and performance trackers
- Coordinate with site engineers, OEMs, clients, and internal teams for issue resolution
- Track breakdowns, preventive maintenance activities, and pending performance issues
- Analyze SCADA and inverter data and identify abnormal operating trends
- Support RCA, warranty claims, forecasting,



and performance improvement initiatives
- Standardize reporting formats and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement

Skills

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or equivalent
- 2-5 years experience in solar power plant operations, SCADA monitoring, and performance analysis
- Strong knowledge of Solar O&M; and SCADA systems
- Experience in PR, generation loss, plant availability, and performance analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI preferred
- Knowledge of inverters, trackers, transformers, HT systems, and energy meters
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and RCA skills
- Positive communication, coordination, and reporting skills
- Experience with utility-scale solar projects preferred
