Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Manager Logistics & Supply Chain to spearhead our trade execution and international trade operations out of Bengaluru. The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of skilled leadership experience in end-to-end contract execution, bulk and container cargo management, and documentary trade finance. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional execution and technology team, serving as a critical bridge between legacy logistics workflows and digital product development. You will drive operational discipline, financial cost avoidance, and process automation across multiple active commodity desks.

Key Responsibilities

- Operations & Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional operations team, serving as the first-level escalation point for complex execution, documentation, and financial settlement issues. Allocate workloads, prioritize mission-critical tasks,



and run ongoing performance reviews and continuous mentoring for direct reports.

- Trade & Vessel Execution: Oversee the end-to-end trade execution lifecycle. Coordinate vessel nominations, load orders, and complex multi-modal logistics (including shore tanks, ship-to-ship operations, barges, and container shipments) ensuring total charter party and contractual deadline compliance.

- Financial Optimizations & Settlements: Compute and settle highly accurate laytime calculations, including demurrage and despatch resolution with global counterparties, surveyors, and port agents. Actively seek avenues for cash cycle acceleration and structural duty/customs cost avoidance.

- Trade Finance & Governance: Oversee documentary controls, strict Letter of Credit (LC/BG) structures, bank negotiations, and regulatory filings (DGFT, customs, Advance Licenses, and EPCG setups) in absolute compliance with FOSFA, GAFTA, PORAM, INCOTERMS 2020, UCP 600, and ISBP 745 frameworks.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate deeply with commodity trading desks, corporate finance, legal counsels, and external compliance agencies to eliminate bottlenecks, minimize transactional friction, and uphold bulletproof audit trails.

- Digital Workflow Innovation: Partner with internal IT and enterprise engineering groups to drive business application enhancements (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O;, Fendahl Fusion CTRM).



Lead change management and operational team alignment for new system changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or PG Diploma in Materials & Logistics Management is highly preferred.
- 10+ years of comprehensive professional experience in international trade logistics and bulk commodity contract execution.
- Profound technical expertise in international trade frameworks: INCOTERMS 2020, GAFTA, FOSFA, UCP 600, and ISBP 745.
- Proven proficiency managing execution software platforms, specifically Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA, and Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) packages like Fendahl Fusion.
- Advanced data analytical skill sets, with specific capability using Power BI (DAX) and Advanced Excel (VBA) to build custom tracking dashboards and data-driven KPI tools.

Desirable / Preferred Qualifications

- Digital Prototyping Capabilities: Hands-on willingness and capability to conceptualize and map out digital solutions by constructing clean HTML/CSS prototypes or visual wireframes to rapidly pitch operational requirements to technical engineering squads.

- AI-Assisted Workflow Optimization: Active proficiency in utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI frameworks (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate daily productivity, summarize heavy regulatory updates, drafts documents, and automate routine analytical tasks.

- Agile Transformation Ownership: Demonstrated experience acting as a business product champion or project lead, successfully converting high-overhead manual workflows into automated, modern digital products.
