Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive specializing in International & Domestic Procurement and Customs Clearance to join our supply chain team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between global procurement and regulatory compliance. You will ensure that all imported/exported/Domestic purchase goods are sourced efficiently, documented accurately, and cleared through customs without costly delays.

Role & responsibilities

- Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments comply strictly with local customs laws and international trade regulations.
- Assign correct HSN codes / tariff classifications and verify product valuations to minimize duty risks and avoid penalties.
- Coordinate directly with Customs House Agents (CHAs), freight forwarders, and port authorities to expedite cargo clearance.
- Resolve operational issues such as customs holds, queries, demurrage,



or detention charges quickly to keep the supply chain moving.
- Ensure domestic purchase documentation and process

Documentation & Operations

- Prepare, verify, and track time-sensitive shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Airway Bills (AWB), and Certificates of Origin.
- Manage required import/export licenses, permits, and government scheme documentation (such as EPCG, Advance Authorization, or local duty drawbacks).
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical archives of all customs filings for audit readiness.

Procurement & Cost Control

- Handle end-to-end purchasing cycles with global/Domestic vendors, from issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to tracking delivery timelines.
- Calculate and forecast accurate landed costs, including freight charges, basic customs duties, integrated taxes, and handling fees.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and warehousing teams to reconcile inventory receipts and vendor payments.
