Purpose/Objective

The AGM - Civil will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all civil and infrastructure works for large-scale industrial projects.
The role involves managing contractors, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and safety compliance, controlling costs, and achieving project milestones within the approved budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution - Lead end-to-end execution of civil construction activities for industrial projects.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and construction strategies.
- Monitor progress against project milestones and take corrective actions wherever required.
- Ensure timely completion of civil works in line with project requirements.
Construction Management - Supervise construction of industrial buildings, RCC structures, steel structures, roads, drainage systems, utility networks, and associated infrastructure.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and methodologies.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth execution.
- Resolve site-related technical and construction issues.
Contract & Commercial Management - Review BOQs, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Contracts teams during tendering and contractor finalization.
- Monitor contractor performance, work measurements, billing, and variation orders.
- Ensure effective project cost control and budget utilization.
Quality & Safety Management - Ensure compliance with approved quality standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Enforce EHS standards and statutory compliance requirements.
- Promote secure working practices across project sites.
Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Utility, Production, and Planning teams.
- Liaise with consultants, vendors, contractors, and government authorities.
- Support management in project reviews and decision-making.




Reporting & Documentation - Prepare project progress reports, MIS, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Track project KPIs related to cost, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Maintain project documentation, approvals, and technical records.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - B.
E.
/B.
Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- M.
Tech / MBA (Project Management) will be preferred.
Experience - 15-20 years of experience in civil construction and project execution.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing projects.
- Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure, factory, power, renewable energy, EPC, or industrial construction projects.
